COVID-19 PREPAREDNESS PLAN

  1. Clients booking online will be required to enter a valid credit card into our system in order to schedule appointments. This payment method will be charged for the service after your massage, which will expedite the checkout process. Optional tips can be added at the time of payment. For package clients, the therapist will inform you about where you are in your package when you arrive for your appointment. Gift card redemptions are as follows: Clinicsense virtual gift cards can be redeemed at the time of service, or online when booking your appointment. Paper hush gift cards can be redeemed in house at your appointment. At any time you may contact our virtual assistant at 651-964-3446 to pre-pay your appointment or redeem gift cards. 

  2. We are advising all new and returning clients to fill out the required intake forms and health history forms online prior to the appointment. This will help us stay safe by ensuring that our electronic devices are used strictly by our therapists and not by the general public. If the required forms aren’t completed online beforehand, filling them out on the premises may cut into the appointment time.

  3. Clean linens from a professional laundry service will be provided, including a top sheet, a bottom sheet, and a light blanket. If you feel the need for more coverage, you are welcome to keep your undergarments on during the massage. Disposable face cradle covers will also be provided for each client, and disposed of after the session.

  4. Each treatment room will be properly sanitized, in accordance with MN Dept. of Health Services guidelines. The surfaces that will be disinfected include but are not limited to massage tables, chairs, end tables, and floors. In order to maintain optimal air quality, high efficiency air purifiers will be running throughout the day in each treatment room. Rest assured that we are taking every available precaution to keep everyone safe.

  5. For the time being, mask wearing for both clients and staff is optional in our facility. Hand sanitizer will be provided at various locations in our clinic. 

  6. If you are sick or have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 within the last 5 days prior to treatment, we ask that you remain home and in quarantine, in order to minimize exposure of others to the virus.

  7. Everyone on the schedule will receive a reminder email the day before your appointment, prompting you to fill out a health questionnaire regarding COVID-19 exposure. You will not be treated until this form has been properly filled out and completed in our system. 

  8. We have resumed charges for last minute cancellations or no shows, effective now until further notice (40% of service the price). In the event a therapist you have scheduled with becomes sick or is exposed to COVID-19, you will be informed by our staff as soon as we become aware of the situation, and will not be charged the cancellation fee.

  9. If a client has experienced any of the following, their appointment will need to be rescheduled until at least 10 days from the original appointment date:

    • Tested positive for COVID-19 within the past 10 days

    • Knowingly been exposed to someone with COVID-19

  10. Finally, we advise all our clients to follow the safety guidelines outlined by the CDC and MN Dept. of Health regarding proper hand washing procedures, and we strongly recommend wearing a mask and socially distancing yourself at least 6 feet apart from other people in heavily populated areas. Stay home and self-quarantine if you exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19 during the past 10 days. We are taking every precaution to minimize the possibility of exposure, but clients should fully understand that they are patronizing hush Therapeutic Massage at their own risk, and Center for Integrative Massage, LLC dba hush Therapeutic Massage holds no responsibility if they should come into contact with Covid-19 or any other virus.
